David Reese's twin turbo 2nd Gen Camaro running 5.02 @155mph in the 1/8 on a shakedown pass.... This car should be really sick when they turn it up!

"limited street" wheelie bars, passenger intercoolers might as well run nitro too. Cool cars just seems like all the classes have gone overboard with rules.

I hear ya... The ORSCA Limited Street class does not allow wheelie bars, but I guess at that particular track/event they were allowed to run them... As you can see twin turbo Camaro and the grey single turbo T-bird weren't running "sissy" bars.. Most any HU class will get out of hand no matter what the rules... Prime example is TSM! Who would have thought they would be close to running high 8's with a stock block and a 70mm turbo especially at 3550lbs?!!!

That particular race was at Phenix City and was a 4.90 heads up class. It allowed Outlaw and Limited cars to run each other which is why you see the wheelie bars. It turned into a test session for most of the ORSCA guys looking to make test passes. Limited in ORSCA still does not allow bars but Szabo's mustang did run them at this event. He has already been 4.80's without them.

huntsville

hey dusty you going to huntsville this weekend? let me know might come over.

From what I have heard the Alambamer Slammer will be out tomorrow!

Weather don't look good for tomorrow night with temps in the low 40's. Kinda like last weekend when I froze my a-- off. The wife has plans for Sunday so if I can't convince her to cancel for Sunday then I have no choice but to go tomorrow night and freeze again. Whatever it takes though because I'm hard core

Considering what you have run in crappy track conditions, I think you will have a little something for the boys in Orlando!

We hope so.

Which brings us to another hard core racer. My boy Chad. I'd like to have seen his wife's face when he told her we we're still going to Orlando even with their 1st baby being due that weekend

If she chains him to the house John you may have to fly out a be a stand in!!

That sounds more like Tampa Bay ............

LOL yeah I guess you're right.....

Bottom line I was trying to convey is anybody that tells their pregnant wife who is due that you may be at it alone cause I got a race to go to is well umm..... I guess 'Brave' is a good term to describe them;) The very thought of the look he got from the wife would probably make most married men shrivel up

It's the first one so I'm putting my money on the baby being over 1 week late  Giving us time to get there and back....
