I opened my hood yesterday to check the Coolant level after a drive, and I was surprised to see the A/C hose spraying freon in my face.
Checked Rockauto and don't see anything listed for our cars. Also checked Highway Stars and G-body also nothing.
Kirban has the hose, but it is marked as 86-87. I've got an 84.

Anybody got a source for AC hoses , or know of someone that can repair this one. Looks like the leak is near one of the connectors.

Take your factory A/C lines to a local shop to have the rubber hoses and connections to the hard pipe redone.

I expect you'll convert the system to R134A, if not already done. The factory rubber lines were made for R12. Besides that rubber now being close to 40 years old, R134A will leak through the factory A/C rubber lines designed for R12.

The problem with ordering "new" replacement A/C lines is how they are shipped. G booby parts folds the rubber hoses in order to use a smaller sized box. That crease weakens the hose, you'll always have a permanent weak spot with that crease. There has been discussions of such.

And there are plenty of comments about the "quality" of these value engineered, replacement A/C lines.

You'll have a better product having your factory A/C lines redone at a local A/C or radiator shop. Yes, a lot of the great Mom and Pop radiator shops once found within a 30 minute drive for everyone have closed. So ask around, and also include truck shops and farm equipment shops. It's a basic repair to do new hoses.

This. Take it to your local A/C shop. They'll be able to rebuild/replicate them for you in a few hours.

If you don't have a local place I sent mine to Century Auto Air. Bob did an awesome job and used USA made hose which he said will last long than factory original.

Tuson, Arizona is where this shop is located.
