LOL dont mind me im a idiot, my mind play a trick on me hahahahaha

looks like the new one may be a heat range hotter...thread length is the same so you're ok there..

A projected tip plug is not a good idea in a boosted engine.

The parts counter people usually do not know shit about spark plug application in performance applications, and just push sales on the "plug-of-the-day"! :)

aah nice i ordered them off the internet, they said they were for a 87 buick turbo vin 7, so if not these what would you reccomend as the best plug for my car

plus they went in nicely and the car seems to be running no diffrent which isnt a bad thing

Those look like bosch platinums. Return them and remember that the guys that program parts into a puter don't know shit about a car other than how to put gas in it.o_O Same thing happens in "corperate" parts stores. The guys that work for them figure the puter knows all and sees all so they have the right parts. No matter what they say it's all about profit and has nothing to do with the right part at any time.

As an FYI, The 1 liter cokes that they sell are bought at between .30 and .50 each and have at least a 300% mark up on them. If you don't think the rest of the parts aren't the same way look at what they try to shove down your throat when you walk in for parts.

so what plugs would you reccomend then? theres a bunch to choose from and there are ngk iridiums sorry about the picture cleaness my lens was smugged

The operating system of these cars doesn't work well with "modern" plugs, period! A standard plug works better than any flashy POS that they try to sell these days. While some engines and operating systems only work with a platinum or iridium plug these cars don't work well at all. There's tons of threads on the board about plugs and just as many where someone has tried the new fangled plugs and can't figure out what's wrong with their car so do a little searching and you will find what you're looking for.;)

As long as the engine is running fine with the new plugs i wouldn't worry about using them. After all you already paid for them and i doudt you can return them to the internet store site for a refund. If you start having ignition problems or the engine begins to run poorly, then get some ACDelco CR43TS plugs from your nearest auto parts store.

I've used just about all the brands of plugs made and never had a problem with any of them. This includes NGK Iridium,Denso TT Platinum,Splitfire,Pulstar pulse plugs,Motorcraft,Champion,Autolite.
