These happen to be the plug wires i have here with me so i was just curious at how they compared doing an ohm meter test on them. The Bosch wires are 8mm and are brand new never been ran on the car. The Splitfire wires are 8mm and i bought them in 1996 and have many miles on them. The MSD Super Conductor wires are 8.5mm and are 3 years old with low miles on them. I have never seen any difference in the way the engine performs with any of these wires installed. The only real difference in them is the cost with the Bosch wires costing less than $30.00 with a lifetime warranty.

Here are the results.

Bosch 8mm: 0.491 , 1.446 , 1.504 , 1.920 , 2.395 , 2.890

Splitfire 8mm: 0.245 , 0.270 , 0.295 , 0.295 , 0.335 , 0.335

MSD 8.5mm: 0.035 , 0.036 , 0.036 , 0.036 , 0.042 , 0.045

All the numbers above were made on the wires with the ohm setting on 20k which is what was needed to test the Bosch wires thats why the Splitfire and MSD numbers look so low incase anyone was curious.

The Splitfire wires tested on the 2k setting were less than 700 ohms.

The MSD wires tested on the 200 ohm setting were less than 50 ohms.

Yes their is no perf gain, however the MSD have a good positive contact at the plug and their boots stand up very well. This is most important on a race car when you are pulling out the plugs 2 or 3 times a dayo_O
