having problems with wires archin out when driven under boost over 7-8. I've been running some cheesy autozone wires and plugs could anyone give me any advice on where to find better wires. when the car is hooked to a computer the only code that comes up is wires arching, and to be honest while driving whenever i decide to put some foot on the pedal i pretty much lnow ahead of time that my car is goin to run like crap afterward. thanks in advance.

Red Armstrong at Quad Air has the wires for $24. Here is his # (440)235-3232. They are only open from 10am to 3pm Mon thru Fri. They are located in Ohio. As for the plugs go with AC Delco R43TS or R42TS. The 43s are one step colder than stock, and the 42s are two steps colder than stock.

AC Delco wires work great and they have a lifetime warrenty. Cost about $25. I'm running 10's with them.

Ok...I know I probally will get pounded on for saying this..but here goes.

I use NAPA Plug Wires (lifetime warranty) and Bosch Platinum +2 Plugs. I know alot of people think they are crap...but I have to tell you, I have had them for over a year, and I have had zero problems. I did however change the Coil Pack to a heavy duty with brass contacts.

Works killer! So to all you gearheads out there...save the comments. The bosch plugs work great and have had no issues!

Just my 2 cents

TO ALL THOSE THAT REPLIED, THANK YOU. I WILL LOOK INTO ALL THE SUGGESTIONS TOMORROW. ROSE1MR YOUR IDEA SOUNDS GREAT BECAUSE I'M RIGHT BY A NAPA, SO THAT'S CONVENIENT. ONE OTHER QUESTION. HAS ANYONE USED MSD MAKE YOUR OWN PLUG WIRE KITS ON A 86-7 MOTOR BEFORE???

cool, i have the 8mm wires as well, i was gonna go to the 8.5mm but have heard there not really necessary
