Spring is Coming!

Even as I watch it snowing out the window, it's sure to come soon!
What have you enjoyed or been thankful for this winter?

I've enjoyed sledding/swimming/playing with my kids and family time in general. I've enjoyed getting to know some great guys on a new-to-me message board. Even spent more time with friends than warmer month hectic schedules have allowed. Been pretty happy not spending $12+ and two hours a week mowing too!

Thankful that I did not panic and lock in a contract for home heating oil for over $4 a gallon like some friends did. Been paying $1.89 last two deliveries.

I'm thankful I still have a job. Not a great one, and I make less than I used to. But I have one. And stuck it out long enough, that despite recent cutbacks, I retain my seniority so I miss the chopping block thats hacked off 2 more FTers in the last few weeks.

I've made some new friends, even though none are that interested in cars, or even own one, we still have enough interests in common.

I'm thankful I haven't had another kidney stone attack. (Knock on wood...)

I'm thankful I managed to quit smoking, 6 months now. Cuz this winter has been real cold and snowy, and I'm glad I don't go out and freeze my butt off to kill myself a bit more every day.

Glad I bought snow tires for the PT. Because without them, I know I would have been stuck at work more than once, or stuck home, or in a ditch. The snow here this winter has been crazy in comparison to the past 5-6 years.

And thankful to my friend Paulie, whos going to help me get back into shape and go to the gym with me, because I really need to get my diet and exercise back on track. It helps to have encouragement.

Im thankfull this winter for the snow LET IT SNOW!!!! Snow plowing last month got my new turbo,injectors and even had a lil left over for the bills To bad its coming to a end soon,but I cant wait to let this car rip!!!

I'll hold my breath on Spring. Last year it came in late July... Weather just plain sux here in New England! Not that there aren't worse places but that dosen't change the fact that the weather here just BLOWS!

Lets see....50* and no snow. Lots of snow in the mountains though.

It has been nice. I actually went to a BBQ last Saturday.
