Block casting # is 4X158701. The last card I had for the block showed 3.915 bore. Anything else, let me know.

I guess I have never ran into that casting#, not that I know a lot about stage 2's, but do you have any more info? A google search of that part# found no results. Obviously it's not your standard 153 block.

It is my understanding that these block were designed for an Indy or Indy lites type of car. Hence they had a cross bolted front main cap because of all the accessories driven off the front of engine, but retain the stock deck height. I have seen several of these run in turbo Regals with success. Though not as prevalent as the 016 or 153 blocks
