Stage II picture thread- Let's see 'em!

Chasing down parts at a sorry machine shop that has moved about 6 times in 1.5 years. Have to get these cleaned again and some rust preventative. The were sent out just for cleaning and some sonic bore testing. I did recover the two rods that were missing and a pair of 1.65/1.55 Jesel rocker pair. You can see a few differences of the front on my on center blocks also.

Yes I have the caps. I tend to always put those in boxes with foam separators so they roll around and damage surfaces.

I will add a few more pics later. I did acquire another 6 bolt main 153 block and a block that has some main cap damage from trying to stop a broken aluminum rod. This lid was with the tunnel ram that I used back in 96 with mechanical fuel injection. It needs to be rewelded and maybe some gusset reinforcement on the inside. Stage 2 heads had epoxy in the bottom of the runners to raise the ports.

Looks like that intake used to be for an on-center. Or was it the other way around? I noticed the split and weld right down the center.

They were all off center. You could have either split them down the middle or elongated holes and do some funky offset porting and welding.

6 bolt main caps and 4 bolt front and rear. This block had the manual bellhousing with the clutch setup still attached. I got to keep all of that stuff just in case I want to put a manual in the car. I did leave the Richmond T10 he wanted to keep that. It has a Hank the Crank finished BMS forging 3.580 stroke crank. Milodon gear drive setup and few odd and ends pieces. I have to get additional pics of the other block, it's painted gold and they are putting it in a hot bath to degrease it.

Is that a chip-out at the pan bolt bump? Right between the #3 and rear main cap? Looks like no big deal. But must have been a bad day for the previous owner.

Yep, I may just weld it up and redrill and tap the hole. Trust me I have seen and ran much worse.

I have an intake just like that, split and rewelded to on center as well. Mine has bungs/holes for mech fuel inj, not regular injectors. Also has a dual carb plate. Good stuff, thank you for sharing.

Yea I was telling Dank that I believe that the same person had to have built these because they are literally exactly the same. I do have a case that has a ton of Kinsler mechanical jets and manifolds from the old days. The car ran great like a scalded dog. I even have the plumbing for the NOS jets for a needed kick. The mechanical stuff does work and it may be beneficial for me to learn it.

Mech injection and or nitrous would be fun. If I had more room I’d pick up a buggy or mini truck to put a spare beater stage ii in and run it NA. Might as well put all those NA parts to use.

I have no idea who made the pan it has baffles and a bunch of -10 fittings in it.
