Odd-fire cam

You may need to retract the statement that the odd-fire cam can be
re-ground to an even fire!!! I am 100% sure that is not possible.
PM me a price for it and more info if you would ,as I would like to have one on my shelf.
Thanks Mike:cool:

I ve heard that all even fire roller cams come from oddfire blanks-not sure if this is true-would need to speak to a cam manurfacturer or someone who cuts cams. thanks mike-you can make me an offer for the cam and i ll get right back to you.

Odd-fire cam

The cam in that post has an odd-fire nose but was probably for an even fire
motor using stock production heads. All stage 2 motors used in busch , arca , indy , etc used the odd-fire type of nose on the cam even though it was used in even fire motors. BUT the cam in this post is for an odd-fire
engine using stage 2 heads. Stage 2 heads require a completely different
valve arrangement. Mike:cool:

oddfire cam

Very well spoken Mike, like the indy oddfire cam you got from me, odd in deed,

The oddfire 3.625" crank, carillo rods, and oddfire cam are spoken for- new price for the rest of parts is $2500. plus shipping.

I believe you would need atleast a 4.1 block-the bores in the 3.8 6109 block are too small to clear the valves. someone correct me if im wrong.

They won't work. You could physically bolt them on with 8 head bolts but they are 14 bolt heads. The valve sizes are too large and will interfere with the deck surface/cylinder wall. To run Stage II heads you'll need another cam, intake, headers and valvetrain as none of the stock components will work.

Will the stage 2 #0031 alu. heads work on a 109 block?Let me know.
