My brothers '87 T-Ltd has a ball bearing 60-1 and a stock D-5 convertor. Weve got some tuning to do, may be running a little rich on bottom end, but boy does it move like a slug getting off. Can barely build a lb. of boost, or do a burnout.
Do you guys use a higher stall convertor with your ball bearing turbo? What stall? Car is a street car that will be occasionally brought to track.
Looking for some of your experiences and suggestions, Thanks!

Running rich at the bottom end is your culprit, not the turbo.

You should need very little converter even for a non BB 60-1, unless you've got a huge turbine housing on it.
