Does anyone make a single 2 1/16" gauge pod for the column? Only need three gauges, two are going in the console and cant figure out where to put the last, really dont want any pillar gauges. That gets too much unwanted attention around here.

Tell you what.....go to GNS PERFORMANCE and click on the gauge holder that Scot W. has for sale there....they are a CNC made three gauge holder, 2 1/16 diameter, comes in the color to match the interior of your car, and sits just to the right of your driver's instrument panel on top of the heater/radio whatchamacallit (damn, I can't think of that name)

I've got one from Scot as well as lots of other members here on the board and we all love them. The gauge holder sits in a perfect place for three of your gauges.

Go see Scot..he's among the most honest, caring guy on this board and will NOT be happy unless YOU are happy. According to ALL of us on the board..Scot is really like that!

Click here: GNS I think this might solve your problem.

I just put in the GNS 3 gauge 2 & 1/16 dash pod in my T, took no time at all to install. A few screws to take off, I didn't even have to drill, I reused an existing hole and ran a screw I had to mount it, ran some wires, snapped the cover on, screwed dash surround back on, piece of cake...

Ah, that's great...glad it worked out for you....bet it looks great, too. Scot does fantastic work, you know. All of his products are A plus! They are really nice gauge holders, wish there were room for two of them. Hope mine goes in as flawlessly.....:D:Doh ho ho ho ha, ha, ha, ha, yeah, right.

Glad yours was a piece of cake....mine work was a piece of "break".

Thanks for the input guys, I was thinking about one of them but it just looks like such an afterthought on the car. Guess its between that and a pillar though.

Steering column gauge install

I installed my Turbosmart boost controller/ boost gauge on the steering column. I can snap some photos if you like. Its mounted in a basic cup and mounting bracket like Autometer supplies with their gauges. It is mounted on the flat area above the turn signal arm. You should be able to do the same thing with a mounting cup and bracket...-Steve

Afterthought??? The damn car is so fast you don't have time to have afterthoughts, just hanging on and keeping it in a straight line.

Yea, post a pic if you can, thanks.

Pics of the install..

Let me know if you have questions...not an easy install if you want the turn signal to continue working, but it can be done. -Steve

Not a genius..

I actually 'borrowed' the idea from another forum member.. but in truth, guys have been putting tachs and gauges on the column for years. Just seemed like a good place to keep an eye on the boost. Right in line with the Scanmaster! -Steve
