Step/Courtesy Mounting Bracket Location

Although this is relatively petty, I've had the GN for about a week now and I've been in the process of reconnecting things and put it back together ... The previous owners(s) were pretty careless about minor discrepancies.

One thing that is stumping me is the passenger step/courtesy light bracket and socket are hanging ... I just cant seem to figure out how it mounts and to what? I've tried about 10 different ways and no go ... can someone post a pick of how their bracket mounts to the underside of the dash or a pic from behind the glove box.

It clips onto the kick panel where the ECM is located. Goes just under the "cap" of the kick panel. Take it apart and flip that metal bracket over....then clip it onto the kick panel.....and reattach the light. Like so:

Another option is to toss that metal bracket and mount it to the plastic under dash cover like this:

Oh thats just funny, no wonder ... I have the bracket, but no upper ECM cover ...and the leads are not long enough to reach to the center opening with mount hole. Thats ok ... I've got plenty of splices and wire haha. Thanks for the pics man!!

It actually clips to the bottom portion of the ECM holder....not the cap. The cap just slides down into it.

A temp fix then... I'd like to move it over eventually, but at least it wont hang anymore.
