Stock boost solenoid

Can you use a stock boost solenoid to control boost with a external wastegate ? If so how do u plum it ? Diagram? If not can I wire a aem type up to the stock wiring? Basically I'm getting the SD2 chip and from what I have red you can control boost through the PL. I currently have the 0-50psi bleeder type valve mounted in the car

Would this work with stock ecm ?

it should, but with 3-port solenoids, the range of the solenoid control can be alot more than stock, so tune carefully.
