SignUp Now!?The Ecoboost is no joke. My wife's DD is a 2010 EB Flex Limited and it runs mid 13's with nothing more than a tune. I have a buddy with a Flex that has recently run 12.4's on motor with a 5500ft DA in 100 degree weather with bolt-ons. He has been fixing some quirks and will be pulling 11's all day long with fuel system mods, upgraded compressor wheels, tuning, intake, catless DP's, and DR's. He will have some products / recipies available in the near future. I can't wait to see what some bigger turbos, and mods necessary for E85 will do if you put that into a SHO.![]()

Are we talking about the same guy?? 4DRHTRD ?
Results may vary. I've been driving Ford trucks for over 30 years and have never had to bring one in for warranty work. This includes my 2011 Ecoboost which has been trouble free for 2.5 years so far. My friend's Chebbys have not been trouble free. While these twin turbo engines intrigue me,it seems they stay true to their mantra.

Ya, right!
Let's see now, who is it that still has the no. 1 spot in pickup sales, and has held that spot for over 35 years running?? You don't make and hold records like that by selling bad stuff. You have to keep customers coming back, and that's what Ford does with quality. This arguement will never die so this is the last I'll say on the matter.
I know the Ford trucks are good trucks and they have been #1 in sales but.... (here we go) lol If you add the Sierra and the Silverado together doesn't it surpass the F150 in sales? It's the same truck anyway.
I once towed my GN to the Ford vs Buick in Oklahoma with a F250 and it was the only Ford in front of my Buick all day!
Ha, good one. My boss bought an f150 ecoboost a few months ago. I drove it and was surprised at how quick it was from a stand still. I drive a silverado ss so I am biased. He just bought a down pipe and alky, we will be taking it to the track next tues night. I am very curious to see what it does. Our local strip is only an 1/8 though.
