Stock hp for 87 gn

I no this has prob been answered b4 but I'm on my iPhone and can't find it....I no the gns where underrated but what where there real numbers for hp and tq to the crank and to the wheels. Thanx guys

The published numbers were pretty accurate. I think they were rated at 245hp at the rear wheels. I put my stock 86' GN on a dyno years ago and it made 246 hp. This was with 125,000 miles on the car.

stock 86/87 buick gn had approx. 245 hp at 4,400 rpm and 355 ft/lbs of torque at 2,000 rpm.....in 1986 gn had 10hp less,but i think it had the same as 1987 gn......

A lot less then 245. IF... ur going by what the manufactor published cause those are FW numbers. But in reality the car went 100 mph in the 1/4 and weighs 3700 lbs. Those numbers put it closer to 320 FWHP and 275 to the wheels.
