Thanks Boost 231, I took a look at your album, but didn't see a pic of what you did with you EGR hump. I probably missed it. I know people have removed them, but they also don't run the EGR system, i was wondering if you can remove the hump and still run EGR and everything will work fine or better? I would think rounding the EGR hump would sever better to split the airflow as opposed to the air hitting a floor and then changing direction....

Someone out there has even welded angle in there to help split the flow...

THanks,

I've removed the dividing wall and ziptubes so my intake is a big open chamber. It passed smog just fine so EGR has to be working ok. Then again, I don't have to worry about splitting the air evenly so I don't know how it would work on a stock intake.

how thick is the metal around the EGR hump.... i am trying to angle the sides of the hump, but don't want to cut into the cavity. Any help would be great...

Thanks!
Nathyn
