Will the stock rear end hold up to transbrake in a low 11 second car? If not what needs to be done? Has anyone done it?

If you mean will an 8.5" hold up yes.I run a spool because you will eat a set of clutches a season with slicks and burnouts if you race every week.I run 33 spline axles and c clip eliminators for safty.you can get a kit from Moser for 695.00.

stock rear

The stock rear will hold up but you will need at least aftermarket axels I broke 2 stock axels with a stock motor and trans off the foot brake in the mid 11's several years ago... Like Bob said you would be better with axels and c-clip eliminators and the spool is a good option.. Good luck

just if you go c-clips don't excpect to drive them without leaks! there is no way around it unless you change the bearing setup to a ford design!
