Stock trans tubing question.

I'm doing a G body hybrid. I got the GN radiator when I aquired the drivetrain from the donor car. I have the engine/trans in place, and the GN radiator in my El Camino core support. The radiator and engine oil hoses meet up with their connections with no problem, but the transmission lines are about 2.5 or 3" inches from connecting. It appears to have a regular flare type fittings on either end. It looks like they should connect. Is there perhaps some type of flex hose supposed to go there, or do the steel lines meet?

the lines are probably jsut bent a little bit- pull them forward until they hook up.

Brilliant! That worked, but I worry they might crack from vibration down the road. I'll wait and see. The only reason I asked in the first place is that I didn't see the connection come apart originally and thought I might be missing some pieces.
