That would be right on time for a gent like myself who is new to these cars. Would definitely follow and already subscribed to their newsletter just to follow this.

This is Rick Seitz's car, I am sure he will make the process interesting.

Thanks Rick, I hope you guys do some video and dyno tests as part of your build.

I should specify. This isn't the first thing that's getting modified on the car.

Obviously, that would be the fuel system. That's already been handled. ;)
Hookers (the headers that is:p) have a large capacity and can slow the spool down, wait a minute, so do the other kind. You'd be better off with a set of the TA stock or race headers

Guys, Rick's car will probably using products from his company's advertisers...
Let's enjoy the ride and see what he can put together, it is great to see our cars still getting some press.
Not every car has to be an established recipe build.
I am hoping that they will update the wheels/tires and brakes to something more modern but not too crazy.

True, but why try re-inventing the wheel. Those headers in particular have been proven over the years to adversely affect the car's performance when installed. The tubes are too big and too long to work with the design of the system. The whole motor needs to be freed up and made to breath a whole lot better to take advantage of those headers.

Ought to be interesting at least. Hopefully they're on the ball enough do pre and post dyno runs.

Hedman is one of their sponsors too, a set of the GSCA Headers shouldn't be hard to get.
Rick loves us too much to put a set of chambered Flomasters on it.

Well what are some of the ways to counter the turbo lag that comes with these headers?

Oh, and we'll be sure to do before and after tests with each step along the way.
