I had planned to change the balancer and the flexplate, as I heard they flex plate and starter were different. I forgot, is the sensor bolted to the block or the timing cover?

Another question: should I but the intake gasket for the '85 Regal engine, or the 80 Riviera engine?

Don't change the flywheel, it's the same. Starter is the same. Crank sensor bolts in the same place as the timing indicator. I use the 81 turbo intake gasket which reduces some of the heat going to the intake. Instead of the big hole in between the ports it has a round smaller hole.

nope, lol. I have to take a look at the bracket that you needed because one of them was broken, and I'm not sure which one it was exactly. I got a complete engine pretty much; turbo, carb, front accessories, etc... Not a bad deal. Very clean inside and everything.

Good deal Bro! Im glad it all is working out!

No rush on the brackets and stuff, just letting you know we can help ya recoup some of the spent money with part sell offs.

:D

dr_frankenstein, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. My Camaro got stolen and was dealing with that mess. I took a look at the bracket you needed, and unfortunately, that was the bracket that was broken. I also got a chance to look inside the engine, and it looks nice and clean.
