I read it before and witnessed it this weekend getting gas. Hit the last button on the pump, notice the price went down, then noticed it's not 94 anymore.

So now they offer 87, 89, 91 and 93. Who would use 91? Is that what the Honda dudes use to get more octance? I just figured stuff like newer Mustangs and Corvettes would be using 93 or 94.

yup went to about 5 sunoco's but no luck :( Ultra 93

Me too. Went to fill up the GN on Sunday and 93 was the top grade. Don't forget that it is ULTRA 93. :D

Read in the paper that MTBE is being phased out in NY and CT and will be replaced with ethanol. Wonder how that will affect our cars? The article also said that gas prices may spike 30-40 cents a gallon during the transition.

I wonder if PA still has Ultra 94 I forgot to check this weekend and I drove right past Sunoco

We need Carl Ijames or maybe Lynn Brown to tell us about the chemical properties of Ethanol vs MTBE. I'd venture to guess it may be more beneficial to turbo cars.

I know MTBE is reducing IQ's. I'm living proof, I live
right near a river and some gas station :-)

plenty of 94 Sunoco here in Michigan, the one I frequent will be selling 100oct soon;)

fast eddie

i live in macomb... bout 5 miles north of warren

just wondering where abouts it would be located... always nice to know where i can get good gas in the different parts of town

I looked on Sunoco's website, and also did a search on lycos for Sunoco ultra 94 doesnt say anything about taking it off the market (cant check though the Sunoco by my house went out of business two weeks ago)

I know the Sunoco at Grand River and Orchard Lake in Farmington Hills has 100 octane.
