I've seen those on shebay. Nothing more than an inline fan. It may do something for a n/a 4 banger though. I really don't see it "forcing" air into the engine but It may help pull it through the filter a little better.

We had a customer come into Toyota and had one of these on his Matrix. He even had it installed backwards so it was blowing out the hole he made in the front bumper for his inlet. He claimed it boosted his hp by at least 50. I almost laughed in his face but had to remain professional with the boss there. She even told him there was no way this item works like he claims and especially like it is hooked up. He read the instructions on the internet and they said it was correct even though the air was blowing out the front.

I actually have had them eyeball my GN as I went thru Sonic on El Paseo one Saturday night. There were 6 guys in that car and they revved at me and I gave them 2 thumbs sideways. Kinda smirked at them and waited for them to follow me down towards Cruces High. I let them catch up and gave it 21psi and was about 6 busses in front of them within a couple seconds. I let off and waited for them to catch up and they made a U-turn in front of that church at the south end of the Cruces lot and went back to Sonic. They didn't look at me when I went back thru 20 minutes later.
