Swapped the gears and posi unit last nite.

I helped a lil, but my Buddy and his father ( I call him Dad also) installed a 30 spline Auburn unit and ring and pinion into my 8.5 rear last nite. Nothing special really except, the ratio installed was a 3.08. Im testing the waters on this, the thinking here is since I have a crazy fast spooling 67BB, the 60ft. times wont suffer, and that the car will get more MPH with the smaller 3.08. Expressway driving should be a lot nicer also. I started to go for a test drive last nite, but I blew a home made gasket that was supposed to seal my external waste gate, so there was no reason to go pound on the car with a big exhaust leak before the wideband O2 sensor. Anyway I should be going to Byron on Sunday for some killer e.t.'s. Gotta go fix this leak and go for a lil pavement ripping test drive!
