You'd have to be a moron to drain your overflow bottle on a driver.

Let alone the washer bottle.

Maybe I will weigh them both for some "accurate" info. :p

hahahah. Agreed. I dont use the washer on any of my cars since it leaves spots all over the paint. My we4 isnt a driver hence no wipers.

You wanna talk about moron, theres a guy in my town with a mustang (2003)completely stripped naturally aspirated. No carpets, no exhaust, no trunk carpet, no seats, he is a fu**ing moron. did go 12.30 na tho

 so wich one is better??? not necessarily lighter is better, but wich one gives you the better handling, steer, ech..... just wondering.....

Actually that wasn't directed at you 87we410877, just the suggestion that doing that was some sort of equivalent weight reduction for a driven car. ;)

I didn't read your post through actually, most people remove the bar before the wipers etc. on their cars, that isn't a good idea either as you found out.

Then there is the slight weight redistribution front to back that nobody's talked about yet for handling. Minor in this case but there nonetheless.

For $75 on the good car shipped, I'll test it out and weigh them hopefully this month before it snows.

No offense to any combo's. out there including those with $$$ tornados in the intake tract. ;)

It depends on what you consider better handling. The car will corner flatter with a larger front bar, but will also understeer more, so on a skid pad or taking corners fast, a smaller front bar might actually be faster or handle "better" than a larger bar, if you just change front bars without any other changes.

Oh i know. I appreciate the re-post just in case tho!! Tornados? ppl really have thoes on turbo cars? Ide have to see that. lmao.

The tornado allegedly stops part throttle surging so on certain combo.s if you can't hold 5 psi. part throttle acceleration without boost and intake tract surging, placing it in front of the turbo can help you. Supposedly it eliminates it completely.

I prefer a 4" inlet and double BB turbo myself, never had surging on either car, but hey they work for some folks.

I got the 36mm for $45 shipped a couple years back, I guess this mod is no longer a secret.

I weighed my 36mm at 14.5lbs, so if it saves 8lbs I would assume the stocker is 22.5?? I have never read online what the stocker weighs, anyone??

How about when it come to a autocross? alot of turns, High speed braking into the turns?

What would you recomend?

I shipped two 34mm bars today. On a certified UPS scale, the 34mm bar in a box weighed 15.82 pounds. A 34mm bar with bushings and end links in a box weighed 17.85 pounds. On my Dad's 30 year old bathroom scale my stocker weighed 26 pounds, but I don't know how accurate that scale is. I have a 36mm bar for sale and when it sells I will report back with the weight from the same UPS certified scales.
