Swithching To Synthetic Oil??

My TTA has 20,000 miles, always ahd regular oil in it and changed very often. I think he told mearound 1500 miles.

Would you guys switch to Mobil 1 at this point?

I switched to Mobil 1 at 10k on my Camaro, just made sure I drained out the regular as best I could.

Just wanted some opinions from you guys.

Didnt want the car to start being an oil burner by switching.

Well have 41k on the Camaro now and so far so good . Any cars that I or my dad have run have been switched over the synthetic and there has never a problem with them.

just make sure you have no leaks because the synthetic will increase it ten folds if you do..but other than that great oil..

Why take the chance? Extended oil changes? I'll be damned if I'll run around with dirty oil contaminated by extended miles of driving, charge me 3 times as much for the priveledge, just because some oil company says it's OK. .
