t link giving crazy info

My t link has been hard to get on the past few days , then it gives crazy info . It tells me iam hitting 5psi boost all the time and siome times jumps to 15psi but i dont have the boost sensing hooked up. It reads my o2's at 780 then drops to 100-200's. My batt volts go from 13 to 6 volts. It even said i was doing 151 mph the other day when i made a pass. It seems to jump back and forth good info one sec the next crazy stuff, about every two sec.

what could do this , it also reads 780's on the o2's at 40psi fuel press and 780's on the o2's at 31 psi fuel press with the vac off. I dont get it and cant tune my car like this.

any one no what this is.

Sounds like something is loose or you have noise in the ALDL circuit (or the ECM is getting noise).

One thing to check ... is the ALDL mode "on"? You have to look on the dashboard screen (v3.0) or on the numeric screen (V2.13) at the ECM mode.

No its in aldl mode it just says normal. I dont get it ,

It is, or it isn't in ALDL mode?

What version of software is it? What version of cable (the new one or the original?)

Regardless, it sounds like something that just started, so it might be as simple as something loose or zapped in the electronics.

Send it to me with return shipping and I'll run it up on the diagnostics bench and fix it for you.

Another thing to check ... have you installed any new software or changed anything on the laptop lately? Like fax software? A PDA?

sorry , its not in aldl its in nomal . As for the software and cable, i dont no any thing about lab tops. The cable is a tan color and is two peices with a plug in the middle, the end is black that plugs in the aldl and the otherside has the spot for the 4 aa batt. The disk is orange and is a v2.13 ms-dos version.

Iam going to check for a lose wireand check the 4 aa batts , if it come down to it what would you need me to send. My dad loaded the disk in the labtop , could i just try to reload it. Or is it probably in the cable.

Really all I need is the cable ... software is probably fine. Make sure to send the whole thing (all parts).

If you use the batteries, you need to zip tie them up so they don't pull on the wires. It's possible it just pulled the red wire loose from the board (which causes erratic power to the circuit, even with no batteries).

Easy fix in that case ... just send in the cable and we'll get it all fixed up! Also, you might want to look into the v3.0 upgrade ... uses a different port and shouldn't require the batteries any more.

tryed new batt, and checked all the wires and the same thing. It was ok tell it hit about 160* and i made a wot pass. Then it started to jump around, the prom id was jumping from 0090 to 0045, the speed want to 26-0- then when i let off for about 6 sec it want back to 99mph and want down from there.



let me know what you want sent, or if i should try to reload it again and i tack care of it.

i really like the 3.0 but i dont think my labtop will run it.
