t type short block

I am new to the turbo v-6 3.8 liter. What is the difference between a t type 3.8 liter short block and a regular 3.8 liter short block if any?

None. That is if we are talking motors of the same year. Like a 1987 T-Type and 1987 Grand National. Same motor.

The turbo motors have 2 differences. Better pistons to hold up under pressure and a rolled fillet crank. The NA engines didn't get them unless it was a GM crate engine.

And of course the turbo drain back threaded hole.
