On my 2nc GN the T67 started to spew oil out of exhaust side, and it bellowed out grey smoke. Luckly I had my old TE60 in the garage, so I swapped them out and no longer have the smoke issue. But Im thinking maybe I should have swapped the WCBB 6765 from GN #1 to GN #2 and put the TE60 back on GN#1. why you ask- well GN#1 feels faster with the TE60 than with the wcbb 6765. Mods on GN#1 are- stock PP heads, cc 206-212, 50lb inj, V4 int, alky kit, 10in 3200 stall, and Mods on GN#2 are- GN1 Iron heads, cc 212-212, aluminum intake, 60lb inj, 3500 stall, PTE stock location int. GN#1 ran 12flat with the te60 on a busted tranny, GN#2 has ran 11.89 with the t67. should I have put the wcbb turbo on GN#2 as it has better supporting mods? or should I order the new 6766 from FullThrottleSpeed for GN#2 & keep te 60 as spare?

the 67 should be on the 4.1 with the better mods.as far as the other combo you could take it to the track to see which is faster or look to see which turbo requires more fuel.i would be willing to bet that 60 will do just as well on the milder combo or better than the 67 unless the boost is sky high.

IMO both cars should be at least a second faster. Especially the one with 6765 if the heads are done. The money would ve better spent on dyno time.

Unless I missed it.... you didn't state at what boost you ran those times at. My guess is.... you haven't cranked it up. You got all the stuff to run 10's...... but you might not have put a little boost to it. You should be able to sneak up to low to mid 20's on the boost with conservative timing and tuneup if everything else is right....... and with some traction...... both cars ought to be trapping over 120 mph in the quarter and both should be in the 10's.

On GN #1 when it had te60, boost was at 22lbs . GN#2 ran that time on 23-25 lbs , I believe is what Tom said, before he bent a valve, then he sold to me and I put it back together. On next days off I will switch the turbos.
