Does any one have a TE 44 they would want to part with? I have done all I can with the stock turbo and now it's time to upgrade. Would like the Precision housing. Thanks for any help!

Randy,
I have a brand new TE-44 from Limit (John Craig) with a standard actuator and PTE 63 housing.
$750 shipped.
I am going to get a billet 62-62 DBB.

I'd like to get that from you but I was looking to get a good used one, I can't spend that much on one at this time. Thanks for the input.

You are really going to like the TE-44 for the street..... I have a TE-62 to put on my new combination, but I can't bring myself to selling the PTE-44 which is on the car now..... They show up on the for sale section pretty regular though. Good luck with your search.

I have a te44 and am going back to stock. It has about 200 street miles. What condition is your stock turbo in? Would you consider trading plus cash?
Let me know if you are interested.
thanks

I have a TE-44 on my car that works great, and as of last time I had it off the car there was no shaft play (last summer but the car hasn't been driven much since then due to winter storage). It has the smaller Garrett housing though, which is better for spooling. Otherwise it's what you're looking for. No wastegate actuator since I use an external WG. The turbine housing has been ported to allow better escape of exhaust gases through WG hole since I had a boost spiking issue before I did this, and there's a good chance an internal WG puck wouldn't seal on it since I was using my external WG downpipe to match it to. That won't matter if you change to a Precision housing though. $450 + shipping or delivered to BG for free.
