IMHO mid 10's seem to be decent for this turbo......with complementing parts of course.

10.70 to 10.80 with the right parts to complement the turbo. But 3800 pounds:eek: thats gonna tax your parts large being that heavy.

You'll need injectors and a larger fuel pump to get where you want to be.

My car is pretty light (3450 w/driver) and I went 10.62 @ 125.45 with 24.5psi through my 67 turbo (should be close to the 45a).

I think very low 10's could be had with the right combo. I went 10.80's@127 with my friends T weighing 3700lbs with the 67 P. That was at 26.5 psi with a 231 ci, 210-205, 8.0-1 with iron heads, fmic, and a non locking converter. There was a ton more left in that combo as the best 60' was 1.65. With a stand alone, a 200lb lighter car and a better 60' i think i could have gone 10.20's.

I've been the best of 10.44 with one. It had a 3 bolt .85 exhaust housing.

I don't think 10.20's is out of the question with a good set of aluminum heads.

My friend with GN1's and girdled 109 run 10.66@126 with that turbo. Boost was at 28-29# using a FAST system. Car weight was 3550 without him in the car.

I went 10.7's @ 123 with 17 lbs of boost. 45A turbo, M & A heads and "ALL" the goodies. (no steel caps or girdle so I didn't turn the boost up)
Chris McDade is right. With Good Aluminum Heads & Higher boost levels, Very low 10's can be reached.
My .02 cents.
:)

I went 10.66 @ 128 mph with my TE45a in my full weight T-type in mid 80 degree weather in Mississippi. Its a good street turbo with a 3200-3600 stall.

Also that was with 8445s ported by myself @ A&A Performance with no girdle or steel main caps and a 204/214 cam with valve train problems.

What else in your combo? I'm gonna run that turbo soon. What weight is the car?

3325--was the wt. maybe 50.... a little lighter than most I guess. I am running some older gn1s and, my cam, I just sold my 45--- prolly shoulda kept it and seen how much more was there....

Havent had mine to the track but it's a pretty nasty little turbo with the right combo. It works well into the upper 20's and 30 lb boost range....if you got any weak spots in the bottom end it will find them for you. :D
