Yeah it even snows in Texas every once in a while...and its still coming down pretty good...supposed to for the rest of the day...already had to knock it off a few little young trees we have as they were bent all the way over almost to the ground.

It's wetter than a mofo down here. 90% today, 90% tomorrow.:frown:

Rumor has it we are supposed to get some snow over here in North LA.

I'm sure we can blame hell freezing over on the Saints winning the SB. :D

I have been sitting in a plane at DFW AIRPORT for the last three hours waiting to be deiced and cleared to take off. At least I am in first class...

Still snowing....Hanging off the roof eve like I've never seen here.

Wow...that's crazy. It was 45 degrees and sunny here today.

I remember it snowing once when I lived in Houston. Screwed up traffic pretty good that day.

Wow thats pretty cool for you southerners:biggrin: Keep those Anniversaries in the gargae:mad: BOTH of them till I get my pick:cool:

You guys have snow plows down there? Can't wait to see the videos of southerners driving in the snow.:D

It's still coming down, 17 hours straight, nope, no plows, 6-8 inches on the ground now.
Just had to drive 30 miles round trip in it to get my wife from work...let me get these pics loaded of the underside of my truck...never seen anything like it not having snow down here much....driveshaft and exhaust are completely encased in ice  Last time it snowed this much was the late 70's to my recollection.

So this is what it looks like underneath after driving 30 miles in the snow/slush/ice... The lower silver pipe is the exhaust that crosses under the driveshaft at the tranny tailshaft.

I'm in the mesquite/dallas area & according to the tape measure, we also got hit with a solid 10 inches of snow...
Before living in Texas, I lived with my Mom & Dad on a huge farm in NY till I was 15 & so the snow brought back alot of fun memories....sledding, building snow forts/caves in the giant snow drifts or piles my dad would make with the frontloader.... ice skating & playing hockey on the frozen ponds & the thrill of riding some fast Snowmobiles!!! Sure don't get to ride snowmobiles in Texas...heck, most people down here don't even know what one is....lol.
Of course, I was young & didn't have to worry about driving it to get to work...it was all fun, no worries. Of well, I guess I'll take the kids out & show 'em how to make something cool out of snow......I've got a couple fun ideas....Maybe I'll post a pic when we're through..:)

The Darkside:cool:

Has dropped from 44 to 32 here, east of Atl. Snowing at a pretty good rate. Supposed to get 1-4", then in the mid 40's tomorrow. Next week in the 50's, sunny.
Last yr about mid March, we got 7-9".. Lasted about 2 days.

See that quite often up here. I need to find the pic where the engine bay was like that and it quit running as the snow turned to ice around the engine.

Later AJ
