I was just wondering how many shims i need under the pressure spring in the front pump to get the line pressure down to about 160. I see 2 shims in there and a light blue looking spring? SHould i take the shims out? The valvebody is a transbrake rev pattern for now, with full line pressure i guess.

Switch pitch huh?
Don't you hate it when you lose bolts? :)

Take all the shims out.

That looks like a stock PR spring. You sure you want to use no shim?

Well that is what im trying to get some info on. WHat is the usual factory line pressure under full load and no load?

Adding an extra shim to the stock spring and stock shim (1) is known as the poor mans shift kit. Using the stock spring with one shim will be a stock setup. I really don't think you want to go lower than that.

One more note. All the bolts on your pump should be at least grade 5 bolts. Identified by three line markers. Torque is 20 lbs ft.
