th400 vereable pitch pump

I have a th400 with a switch pitch pump does anyone know how much it changes the stall speed or how to tell if its working

YOu have to put power to the transmision on the side connector near the pan on the left side. If oyu have a switch in the car brake torque the car and see the rpm, then do it again with the switch on. It should pick up at least 1000 rpm more while braking torqing hte car.
