Don't want to put out any spoilers to those still waiting but just got back from seeing it. I was okay with it. I think Disney did the franchise justice but not real taken with Finn's acting or the look of the villain. I hope the main plot twist which was so predictable once the move started taking direction can somehow be undone but like I said, no spoilers. About the original cast, dang they all looked ruff (yes I know that is not the correct spelling but I think it gets my point across). Anyway not my favorite but I think I liked it better than the first three. I mean the second three which were really the first , aw you all know what I mean.:droid::blackalien::alien:;)

I'm going to it tomorrow . Not expecting too much. Not going into it like "the hobbit" and just being disappointed

The best thing about the movie is it makes me forget the prequels that came out!! I agree on the original cast members look ruff!!

i thought it was a good movie, but they spent a lot of time on exposition, explaining who the bad guy was and how he became that bad guy... then there was that other character that was hyped up before the movie came out, then she didn't really do much except stand around and get used later to advance the plot..

Saw it Sunday morning in IMAX. It was good, much better than any of the prequel movies. To me it felt like the plot was copied from the original movie too much. Young slave prodigy from a desert planet, base the size of a planet with one big weapon, etc.

It gave all the fans what they wanted and none of what we didn't want ( jar jar)

The original characters looked like they aged 38 years:) Hammil seems to have fared a lil better. I thought it was pretty good til the plot twist :poop:

I felt the story was a little rushed..I wished they would have slowed it down a bit so we could digest what was happening..

they did a great job on it,besides the effects the plot was good and the acting was where it needs to be.looking forward to the next one

Yea it was ok. My least favorite of them all though. I even liked the prequels much better. Yea that scene was SOOO predictable. Not a fan....

I liked it better than the prequels. Still, not thrilled with the villain. (Kylo Ren) Like Dr. Evil once said "Well it's true! It's true! You're semi-evil. You're quasi-evil. You're the margarine of evil. You're the Diet Coke of evil. Just one calorie, not evil enough."

This is the Darkside- Darth Vader Forever!

Hell, I even bought his car.

Just saw it. Wow! Great show. Keep in mind that I only see about one movie a year though. Being the good classic car guy that I am, I found myself worried sick throughout most of the movie that the Millennium Falcon was going to get wadded up.:jawdrop:

Saw it yesterday in 3d Imax. It was very good. A good mix of old and new. Looking forward to the next installment.

I just wish I could have seen it before opening day. I saw the first Star wars May 17 1977. I saw it seven times before it opened to the public. I was 12 and my best friend's dad owned a theater. We would make 5 dollars a piece cleaning the crap off of the floor and his dad would play movies while we cleaned. I remember when he got Star Wars in and let us watch it. The movies were delivered in two metal cases. I still have the original theater posters.

Just seen it for myself. I think there was better acting in space balls. Characters sucked and plot was basically the same as the original. No one noticed it? Special affects were good. Lucas save it.;)

I also loved it, except for one part. Can't wait to add the bluray disk to my collection.

I saw it in I-Max. Highly recommended.
