So Jason you are confirming you ran a 9.12 in TSM trim less some weight?
How light were you, a guess is fine? Why do you think Otto thought you told him you were at weight? Don't forget to get the T6P TSM leader board updated with the 9.12 as that is an impressive run that will set you apart fromalot of others. Last thing what was the 1/8 et and mph on the 9.12 run?
Thanks in advance for the answers,
Kip

Those times and numbers were not supposed to get out,I was testing some new stuff for Reynolds.Until is is run at a TSM legal event it means nothing

Jason asked me to post this as he does not have internet were he is staying at Cecil.

At weight or not that is just plain flying. Since the weight (lack of on Jasons part) means nothing then everybody pull all your weight out and go faster than Jason. ;) To run a big number the hard part is having all the variables come together at the same time on the same pass.

Great job Jason. Let us know what's up at Cecil.

No Solid Roller here.. Still have FT Hydraulic roller with Beehive springs. The key is in the combo.

After it does, we will be pulling the valve covers to show everyone that it is still a hydraulic roller.

PS. This engine built by Don Cruz is the real deal! Can't wait to see what his will do this weekend.

Jason congrats from the FTSS crew, we are all very proud of you. I want to personally thank you for believing and sticking with the cam. Lots of thought went into it in the begining. They said a hydraulic cam could not go that fast but you proved them wrong. Did I mention the contingency check for the first 8 from a TSM car with our cam?

Just got a call. 9.54 @142.9 from team banana. Kevin B also ran a 9.6 something at 142+, so it sounds like the budget racers are making some power. Team banana has gone from 9.9 to 9.54 without changing a tune laz put on the car at BG. Big props to laz. Don't think he spent more than 5 minutes working his magic on the car.

They sure did BIG CONGRATS TO Team banana for hard work and to Kevin B.for all his hard work GOOD JOB GUYS you deserve it .

Big Congrats to Ronnie and Tim.

Ronnie I know how bad you wanted to lay down A 9.5. Good job to you guys!!

Simply amazing with a non stroked 109!!!! The weather was great tonight.

Congrats Tim!

The Team Banana vs KevinB grudge match ended in a 1 to 1 tie. I got the first race thanks to a good light and Tim's car cutting out right before the finish line. The second race belonged to Tim. I crossed the line first, but had a -.001 light:redface: Tim out ET'd me (9.54 to 9.67), but cut a .135 light.

The night was cut short because I lost oil pressure on that run. Don't know why yet, but probably a cracked block or cam bearing. This block has had the chit kicked out of it by me since '98:eek: It was due lol. Good news is that the rotating assembly and cam are probably not hurt too bad.

I was shooting for a 9.7X tonight. Never did get the 9.7X, but skipped to the 9.6's:biggrin:  Finally getting my combo working. There's more left in it...but I'm probably done for the year. My goal is 9.5' for BG:smile:

Great Job Guys! Kevin if your car needs a "stunt double" for any additional grudge races this year, lemme know! lol

Good to see you guys are going fast and having a good time!

Cheers-

HAHA, thanks! Just let me barrow your engine:D

I was just doing some adding up of my passes on this block in my head. I'm probably at at least 1000, if not 1200 or so passes, plus it had 130K miles on it when we pulled it out of the wrecked car. I continued to use it as a daily driver for another 50K miles or so.

Kevin the tree killer wow!!!!!!!!

That is darn good light, just aliitle to quick though. Congrats to you on your new best!!

Thanks Sam! Wish you and Toni could have made it out there. The 9.40's were calling:D

I wanted to be there but I am such a devoted employee. I brought the car with me to work if we got things wrapped up early, I was going to blast down to Muncie.

Toni, called me at work and said she wanted to run the car tonight at our local track. My Friend Pat really wanted to see what the changes he made to the tune were going to do.

We ran at our local track tonight. The weather sure was perfect today:)

Kevin, that was a fast signature up date. Congrats.
See ya, Kip

Kip, you know I don't mess around hahaha.

Congrats to all.. You guys are making a lot of progress.
Thanks Jason! My combo is coming together piece by piece. It's starting to work out now. Just a few more important things left. I feel next year will be a better one for me in TSM. I'm just happy I came from nothing last year to 9.6's this year with a small budget and a lot of help from my friends:D

We want to thank Lee Thompson for the cam sensor and screw. Kevin Hess for coil pack and plugs . If it was'nt for those two guy's we would not have made a pass all day. Thank's Lee and RPM Transmission for the track invite. We got to the track the car would not go over 4000 rpm with out popping. We got that fixed. Then we were racing KFB and lost the cam sensor at the 1000 ft and rolled a 9.79 at 125 mph then golf cart took a crap.We had to have both towed back. Golf is still down banana went 9.51 and drove on the trailer.
