Clues:

I m thinking of 2 factory options that were NEVER available in our cars (1984-1987 Turbo Regals), yet companies like myself have sold to owners over the years.

These 2 options came in other GM models.
My 2 guesses are:

- low fuel light
- passenger power seat

In one respect your answers are correct however, in my statement I said you had to pick the 2 I am thinking of.

So, you are currently 1/2 rite with my answer. The seat option is not correct. Although we have sold a few of them it is not one I was thinking. The low fuel is correct as we have sold a number of them over the years. Now everyone has 1.2 the answer you need to come up with the second part of the answer before anyone else does.

May be tricky....

The prize value will bump up higher sometime over the weekend on the turbo car question that seems to have a long life of wrong answers. I think currently it is valued at $150 in prizes....

I need to land more questions like that one...

or, if most agree we can call me the winner, and I will then give the answer?

Lighted rear-view mirror!

kirban 2 cents worth

good news & bad news....

the good news is that is an excellent guess and would work, however, the bad news is it is not the option I have in mind.

So, at this point you remain at 50% correct....

So once 54rich catches up the lited rear view mirror is another wrong answer.

til tomorrow

the clock is still ticking on this turbo buick question.....

And here is the question with clues:

Name the one car model, that I am referring to that only offered a turbo option for exactly one year.
it is a factory car from the factory
Made less than 1,200
was not made in germany-france-italy
before 1995
after 1975
One new minor clue car I am thinking of was marketed in the USA
One of the options for this car was a black out kit which would be similar to what we have in our Turbo Buicks
before we head down every Chrysler car produced none will be the correct answer
answer it is a car that everyone 99% of you will know maybe not with that option but a car that is known
Prize Value $25 Post #811
New Prize Value (5/17/09) $125!

How about another clue? I think most of us are out of guesses:confused:

How about another clue? I think most of us are out of guesses:confused:
I'd like another clue. I thought I threw some good ones out there and most were indeed "one year only" models, but not the one that Dennis had in mind.

It must be so obvious that we are all missing it!

I'll take another stab at it:
- low fuel light
- upgrade CD player

Regarding the "turbo" quiz, I think the next clue should be engine configuration (ie., V8, V6, inline 6, inline 4, etc..........

.......and displacement. ;)

Thanks for the decoding. Only one problem tough, my cars silver and is supposed to be the factory paint on it.

losabres trunk ID label looks like 71 codes you got the lite weight bumper braces VD6 and VD7 which seem pretty popular, no vk3 code means your car originally sold in a state that did not require a front license plate, you got no rear defogger again I am assuming your car was originally sold down south.

You have the black out package also black door edge guards, if I am reading your paint code rite its a dark blue color....outside.

You have the next to the best radio UM6 and standard U66 rear speaker set up,
You have a fixed black antenna (good thing there),

You have power locks power windows, cruise, factory alarm UA6,

Nothing unusual in your codes....with no rear defogger and no front plate your car originally more than likely sold when new down south maybe the same state you currently live in assuming your state does not require front plates...

If your car is that blue with the black out package that is a great color combo....
As for number of codes you fall in the middle of the road with them....

Another clue on the looong running trivia question:

the car model is more than 6 letters and less than 12 letters long

I personally have never seen one....so even though they made just under 1,200 car must have had an early death.....

From the amount of wrong answers I doubt many of you have ever laid eyes on one either.

The company that made the car is still in business.....the model I am seeking is not produced anymore.

54rich will bring the clues all up todate.....hopefully...
