Anyone ever have their sheet metal holes that hold the ground cables rust (like in the firewall) a bit and "open up" resulting in a "Sucky ground connection"? Well, I must be the only one :biggrin:

There must be something out like an expansion nut you can install into the "Ol' sheet metal hole" and install a machine screw. Could not find anything through google.

Anyone done this?
 
I think I recall seeing threaded pop rivets. Not too sure where I saw them. that might work for you.

Did a search (after I recall seeing them also) and at least from your post knew what to search for.

Search for "Jacknut" in www.mcmaster.com
 
They are also called; threadserts, thread-serts, nutserts or something of the sort. I get mine through Grainger. TRY HERE Sorry I missed this earlier.
