Again?
Ok...
First of all, any and all books are/were written by men, including the History books of today and the Bible. However, there are numerous facts within the Bible that HAVE been proven, including evidence of the great flood just like there is proof of past historical events within the common history book.
You can choose to believe it or not, that IS your choice and certainly your God-given right. If you choose to believe that the Bible is God's word, written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit, that is your right. If you choose to deny those facts, then that is your right too.
But the Bible should not be viewed as any old history book - it is so much more than that. It tells us how to live as Christians and the way we are to treat others, including those who disagree with us. I can assure you - it does NOT tell us to attack those that disagree with us; rather, it instructs us to love them.
Some of the saved AND the
UNsaved BOTH here should consider those instructions - love one another.
The Bible also tells us what the results of sin are; how we can avoid those pitfalls, how to help one another walk the straight and narrow, what happens to those with false religion, why men will boast about their faith and lose it all, why we have churches, why we should assemble there on a regular basis, and on and on and on and on.... The Bible is SO much more than just a common history book! I encourage you to read it and see for yourself.
Oh, and one more thing - it is not "Custards Last Stand"; it is Custer's Last Stand. It kind of sounded like a frozen yogurt business the way it was spelled out.
