how long did they last? does your car idle like ****? were u getting a lot of knock?

the first day i had my motor in it ran great, VERY little knock...now all of a sudden i'm getting 7.9 degrees at WOT and it stutters BAD at 2K....

the fuel pump is getting replace, but i don't see why one day it'll run good then the next day its ****, i really think its the MAF...so let me hear those aftermarket MAF woes..BTW a LT1 MAF and T+ is coming soon :)

had good luck with ones from NAPA. Advance, and the other local parts store you have to go through a couple before you get a good one.

well, my car sucked a screen out of Tomco mas sensor, and ruined my new @the time TA-49.

yeah the tomoco sucked for me to car ran like crap. Thats why I only chance I think it echlin from NAPA!

I used the Echlin one from NAPA for over a year and then went to the translator.

Thing looked like crap but worked very well on the street. :)

DON'T USE THE HOUR GLASS SHAPED ONES!

The NAPA (echlin) one works good
the A1 Cardone (special order - advanced auto parts)works good

WE ALL KNOW THE TRANSLATOR IS BEST, BUT SOME HAVE TO USE A STOCK STYLE MAF FOR NOW (including me:) )

Last June my original equip. MAF went south. I bought an A1-Cardone reman. which I thought I would hate. Based on all of the negative postings on these remans I thought I would just run it until my Translator+ came in. Well, I never ordered the Translator. The very 1st maf I got idles great (6 on the meter) and snaps right up to 255 quicker than the stocker did when it was running right. So almost a year later I'm still running on the Cardone unit. My only complaint is that the connector comes straight out, instead of the correct orientation downward.
