Anybody know what the Thrasher 92 octane WOT timing curve looks like?? (low gear timing, high gear timing...)

thanx in advance

It looks like a hill that increases in heigth up to a point then tapers down at the tail end. :D

I have tried to get timing numbers for Thrashers and no one knows them. Whats his name that invented the things is the only one who knows for sure

i too am interested... i was actually about to order the 92 octane stock injector street chip today...

Perhaps, they don't like to give their secrets away so all the wannabe cloners out there? The Thrasher is one of the few unique chips out there....along with the Extender and MaxEffort. Why tell people what makes it unique? It is basically given away and has a history of working well. Not much point in being upset because people refuse to share what makes it work so well with the world. :)

Maybe Scott is saying that it has low timing to help spool around and below the converter stall rpm, goes to high timing in the mid range than tapers at the top to reduce detonation.

It doesnt piss me off that I dont know the timing. Hell, as long as my car runs good on it I could care less what the timing is. For all I know it could be like the guy who runs 25# of boost with zero timing:D

does anyone have a number to thrasher? i tried ordering one of their chips today via their website but their paypal feature wasnt working...

They sell thru their distributor which is Scott231 above. :) Drop him a note and he will take care of you.

No. I was just being a smart a$$ :D (see what it says over there to the left under my name?)

Tom refused to give anyone (including me) the "secret" as to how he did his timing tables. I would surmise that he A) moved the timing tables (in location and possibly order) on the chip dataset and B) monkeyed with the base timing number and/or multipliers. But I do know this, it works damn good on the cars for which the chip was designed.

When I spoke to him at Bowling Green in '99 he could not recall what he did on the Turbo Regal chip code nor how he did it.

You can call Thrasher and talk to some FWD guy that knows nothing about our cars and especially nothing about the Thrasher chips for our cars if you want...but you'll get no where.

I sell these chips for $25...always have...and my "profit margin is getting REAL thin these days. Buy one and if you don't like it, send it back to me. Please e-mail me at Scott231@Juno.com if interested.

That sounds about as trustworthy as "Trust Me" from a complete stranger on the internet...

If you have the answer, and know you are right, then why not share it with all of us?
