Thread tap question please

Does anyone know what hsg means? (High speed ground) How is that different from hss (high speed steel). Need to purchase a plug tap m6 *1. I know there is carbon steel, hss but how does hsg compare?

From what I can find is that HSG is ground " to a precision tolerance under closely controlled manufacturing processes and are guaranteed for accuracy " . I looks like both are made from HSS , just one is ground for more exacting tolerances .
