Going to try and remove TB & plenum at the same time. Are the 2 hoses with the silver hose clamps coolant lines to the TB? If so, will the coolant have to be drained before removing?
Also, would it work to replace the vacuum block hoses before bolting the vacuum block back up? As in replace & attach the hoses to the vac. lines & block and then re-attach the block?

The 2 Throttle body hoses are coolant lines. Most people remove them from the TB and then loop 1 hose back to where the second one comes from on the black coolant pipe. Reason for removing them from the TB is that the coolant lines add heat to the TB which can also increase the incoming air temperature and lessen performance.

Its easier to mount the vacuum block first and then replace the hoses.

While you are removing the TB and plenum drop in a RJC power plate. For better air distribution

The TB is the highest point, but you will lose some coolant when removing the hoses.
If you don’t drive your car in the winter and aren’t worried about the TB icing up you can loop the hose as mentioned to eliminate coolant from heating up the TB.

More info.
