ticking noise upper engine

I have a 87 gn and i have a ticking noise it sounds like from cam/lifter area it could also be the cam sensor but i am not sure.. any recomendations? the car runs just fine and no loss of oil presure.

I just had this same thing it was the cam sensor.

Put the end of a screwdriver on an injector (the handle end to your ear) and see if it is in tempo with the noise you describe.

does the ticking only happen durring warm-up? and then go away...?
