I've NEVER heard Donnie brag, EVER! he is a teacher, he will always take time to explain, what ,why .
he has helped many ,many buick owners, (and other's too)
he will explain to you what is wrong and what it should have to be right.

I'd like to see this race, but on more friendly terms.

I do understand your feeling and respect them But you have to admit he has been very demeaning to me and others and provokes people for the fun of it.. I truly believe he is miss understood and is a smart and talented craftsmen that chooses to march to his on drum.As far as East Coast West Coast i have never felt that here?

I'll go ahead and explain it. There are many that ragged on me over the years that my combination that I was playing with would never work. When I started that thread, I was simply throwing it out there, for those that were interested, that the combination did end up working, and my critics of over the many years took the bait, hook, line and sinker, and squealed for the whole entire thread. That was a fun thread. Thanks for participating in it.
I might have to start another one of those threads after I get this new engine running.

I guess it all depends on what you think worked means .Did it go fast yes it did could you have done it with less yes.You saying it worked is your call i guess but people saying it wouldn't work is not true. They just said it wouldn't work that well and to them it still doesn't especially with a 400 shot and a 91MM turbo. I believe there is Supra guys running in the high 7,s with less cubes and a smaller turbo and spraying to spool..

Those that understand engines better, know how hard it is to get small valved heads to do what that engine did. I certainly don't expect everyone to understand. And some never will.

No, I don't have 10,000 to gamble. I was in the right mindset at that moment to be willing to go into debt that amount, if Tony's next answer had been the right answer. It wasn't the right answer. It was another one of his many weasel answers. He completely blew the point of sale that would have made the deal final.

Those that understand engines better would have never put the small head on to begin with. The question is why would you unless your were spec racing or class racing were you had to run those heads?Why would you built a state of the art shortblock and put out dated heads on baffles me.

If it wasn't in that thread, it was in another one that I had started earlier that followed the project. I'm not going to get into it here.
