Nice times Im looking at the 6262BB or the 6365BB Cant wait till spring! lol

Both are a good choice. I had my setup up to 104 mph in the 1/8th mile last weekend on 28psi. Going back to the 1/4 mile track in 2 weeks. Hoping for a mid 10sec slip.

went from a TE60 to a 6768 an swaped the converter 3400 l/u 3770lb 2nd pass ran a 10.97@ only 119 with a sorry 1.66 60ft converter was too tight out the hole an way loose on the big end would barley do a burnout ... stock longblock ...... head gaskets had been lifting for awhile an gave up the ghost @ the 1kfoot mark
let it sit for a yr ... been working on it since 2010 lol

Bet its the convertor laying over slipping on the big end

I was promptly asked to leave.

This car has a LOT more in it!

I purchased the turbo approx 3 weeks before the new exhaust wheel technology was announced. (I'm still a little peeved at that)

I'm completely satisfied with the car, it has certainly exceeded my expectations.

Thank you Lou Czarnota!

Here is a pic of the first pass time slip, after which I was stearnly warned about my speed.

The printing on the 2nd pass above is too faint to take a picture of....

Very nice. What converter are you running with that, lock up or non?

Non lock up.

Lou has a guy that built both the trans and converter.

It also has an HR Parts sway bar and adjustable control arms.

A friend just went 10.78 ET @ 127 on his second pass with a new motor.
The turbo is a 6265, I am hoping this car to has a 9.9 in it.
I will let him post the details if he would like.

Getting the track officials let him make that pass will be the fun part........:D

boost was barely in the 20s... This thing is going to be a monster.

How much boost do you think it would take to run a 9.9 with a 6265?? I am thinking that will be my next turbo.

Got any more details on the combo? Inquiring minds would like to know.;)

I'd have to find the post.... but I asked the question (when the billet 62's first came out) who would be the first person to run a 9 with a 62 turbo..... I would have guessed someone would have already pushed one hard enough with the right combo to do it.... but I don't think anyone has yet.

I too am curious.

Same here Im wanting to know what it takes with one of these new Turbos to get into the low 10's what inj. what heads what cam and most of all WHAT BOOST PSI ect. I was told these turbos really dont respond till they are over 28psi.
Im thinking of going to the BB6265 Have a PTE6152E now and dont want to spend $1500 if its not going to go much faster.

IMHO the 6152 turbo is a mid 10 sec capable turbo if pushed pretty hard with the right combo. The 6266 or 6265 should be 9 sec capable with the right combo of parts and pushed pretty hard.

IMHO, there is 1/2 a sec ET (POTENTIAL) difference. Does that mean you can bolt on the 6266 and it will automatically run 1/2 sec faster..... probably won't be that easy...... but the potential is there.

Alot of "old school" turbos have run these same numbers with 28psi or less. And so it goes.
