I have never had this car to the track and was woundering what kind of times I would get. I have a PTE-51 turbo, 3" THDP, 3" cat, hooker cat back, orange stripe converter, 42.5 injectors, rjc power plate, alky injection, MT DR 275/50/15 stock rim, comp cam 206/206, new valve springs, stock intercooler (want and better one but don't know whick one yet), holley 255 ltr fuel pump hotwired, kn filter, adj fuel reg.
Any opinion greatly appreciated

What your car will do and what it is capable of are two different things.
Your setup is capable of high 11s but it is all in the tune and hookup.
Momar almost hit 12s @ 102MPH. It took me 105MPH to hit 12s.
That is how important 60 foot times are.

There are a lot of variables, but in theory 11.8-12 flat would be realistic

Sal-
Your combo is pretty close to Neils combo, here is his combo.....

Neil ~ 8UWITH6
1986 Buick Regal Grand National
PT51, Powerstroke IC, MSD 50's, Stock Block/Heads
11.08 @ 122.39mph, 1.59 60ft, 25psi

I think the only difference is he has 50s, which you can run your 009s just run the alky, and he has a Powerstroke IC...
His car has a comp cams 206/206, and the LOWER intake has never been ported out, and the heads have never been off... I know this because we pulled his motor years ago just to clean the engine bay and do new bearings.

Get rid of the cat, and just run open downpipe, thats what he was doing,He was running 110 race gas..
Call eric marshall and get a copy of neil werners chip, if you swapped to 50s, it would be a identical combination, except for IC, which you need to upgrade.

If you can find one, get a BGC 23 row IC, i have one on my green car and i love it... They usually sell for 300-400 bucks, that or find a good front mount

The 51 with alky should take you well into the 11's with only a little tuning if you have enough fuel/alky...could fine tune it to low 11's I'm sure if you push it a little leaner.

Thank You everyone for the replies. I was really did not think I had enough for 11's let alone low 11's. I am going on the market for an intercooler. Probally going to be a stock location as for which one, I need to do some research. There are so many. There was a post months a go about which had the least amount of pressure drop. Anyone recall this. What are my options? BGC, Cottons, Mease, CAS any others?
Thanks
Sal

I know PT&E sells one, and if the search function i could tell you of another...
i think its thunder fab or something like that.
If your car sits real low up front, then take that into consideration.
My silver limited rides at a stock heigth, and the BGC hangs down very low.
My car never bottomed out the scoop, but it was very close on some large speed bumps

Thank You for the heads up Quick6. How does the CAS V4 stack up next to all the others on the market?
