Title says car weighs 3212

As title states, I was looking at my title and under weight it says 3212. It's a heavily optioned 87 Gn with ttops,all power options available etc. So that can't be right. What does everyone elses titles say. Assuming other states put weight on there titles

The title for my 84T said 2772 and it had aluminum bumper supports and drums. No way it weighed that compared to my 85 GN which was built the same and said 3586 on that title. Same options on both cars.

Well, I looked for my '87 GN title just now and can't find it. So, that's another worry for me.

Until then I'll tell this since we're talking about weight: I got on a talking scale today at WalMart.....it said: "One at a time, please." Nice. Guess I'll be cutting down on beer consumption. Now where's that darn title?

Just looked at my title and for my full trim GN the title states 3380 lbs. Sounds about right.

Title weights aren't based on anything real, like an actual weight. It's just estimates.

Get your car weighed if you need to know what's real.

Had mine weighed this spring-has every option except maplights and twilight sentinel- 3750lbs. without driver!

Like TurboDave stated, get it weighed.

Had mine weighed at the track last year and it weighed 3,333,the title says it 3,285.

The title weights are made up by women......off 20% to the low side.

My car is 1987 T-type.
