Too much restriction, is there such a thing?

I am wanting to add an in-line tranny fluid filter to my system but am concerned that this piece might create an additional restriction to the flow path. Currently I have the feed line running to the cooler in an F body radiator, then out to a B&M stacked plate external cooler, then back to the tranny. Would adding this additional filter create too much of a restriction in the path?

Lastly, refresh my memory, is the top line in the tranny the "in" or "out?"

TIA

You would have to try it and measure the pressures in the cooler circuit. Could be a problem if the filter gets clogged and there is no internal bypass. I wouldt do it myself

I run magnefine inline filters on all my cars. Two of my cars have transbrakes. No issues. HTH
