Took the car out tonight

I took the car around the block and down to the test strip. I wanted to test the program Cal sent with the XFI. I drove about two miles normal cruise and it drove like a stocker (except for the reverse manual VB). Lined up on the straight away and stalled it up on the foot brake to 2psi and left. The slicks left two good black marks through first, short shifted at 5800 (shift light) and began to leave two more black strips through 2nd. All this at 18 psi.. :cheers:

Cal went over some stuff with me and we found some things that needed to be reset.. Time for a visit to the track now. :headbang:

I'm starting to feel good about the car again. Can't wait to get to the TSM legal 34psi.. uh I mean 24

J you should take it up to the 7/11 on bell shoals & boyette one sat night. Some slowbra & ls1 peeps up thurr would like to see what that old relic has in her. Good to hear your up & running thanks to Cal. Good luck with the tsm legal 44 psi :biggrin:

Depending on how things go this weekend I may need one also It's making 28.5# now and it should have a few more # left. I'd like to see 138mph this weekend.
