well some of that storm came up to us around 6:30 Thursday night .. Took out a large tree by our house .. hurt a rare Limited T on the trailer  What a noise !!

Damn Grumpy. You need to cut own all the trees in your yard. Didn't you have one fall on your house a couple years ago?

Anybody heard from Febus:confused:

I hope you are all safe, I heard it came from nowhere.

We're okay buddy, but it was too close for comfort. My wife and I were coming out of the gym when it enveloped our car and just shook the crap out of it. We were actually preparing for the car to flip, it was that bad! It lasted all of about 30 seconds, but it was pretty scary!!!

Brett, I really had no idea of the extent of the damage it caused, WOW! We were luckier then I thought!

Its amazing how such large tree's with massive root systems just get torn up so easily.
Like us pulling weeds.

Bison was called in to haul the trees out by his teeth. Kinda like how they do in those strong man competitions I guess.

LMAO, I heard his back actually caused the tornado in the first place :p. He didnt even mention it on the phone today (only troubleshooting )

That tornado must have been lost. They usually hang out in trailer parks.

Well it is the NE so I'm sure that it will be treated as well as Lousiana was when Katrina hit.:biggrin:

Glad everyone is OK Brett. Tornados are not fun. I remember having several suprises here in Texas. Hope everything works out in the end.

The one that I drove through on my way to Southern CT State College for my 4pm course, was an F4 tornado.

That's a big one even in Kansas.

1989, it took me an hour to drive the 20 minute drive there and find a box truck upside down in the parking lot and nobody home.

And then the 3 hour drive home began.

Lots of backtracking with trees and debris blocking the road and some of them under water.

Southern Hamden in the Highwood section was hit the worst. :(

salvageV6 made it there and back however, even though the water on one street came inside the door wells.

Even the kenne bell cold air kit and inlet worked under water.

Probably a lot of small leaks in that plastic dryer hose that was on it let some air in in the engine bay. :p

I remember that one like yesterday.

You must have been driving around that area the same time as me! I was in charge of maintenance for the nursing home up near West Rock in back of Southern. Remember driving across baseball fields and thru peoples yards to get back to work after it happened.

it messed up my property some trees were slip in half and my fence was messed up,nothing compared to the rest of bpt.

You live in Bilgeport!!! :(

I'd have a machine gun turret on my house if I had a TR and lived there, yeah even in the good section, well assuming there is a good section. ;)

Yeah Mark I drove around for hours dodging stuff and flooded roads, it sucked but we made it back okay. :)

I was heading North you were heading South, I'd never seen a box truck upside down before and that freaked me out a bit when I got to Southern.

I shoulda skipped class that day. :p
